Bio:

You grew up on Giju, the Capital of what was once the Herglic Trade Empire. An early space faring race, the tech-savvy Herglic people were among the first to develop the hyperdrive, without the aid of of other species. Though the your empire has long since fallen, Herglics have remained strong in the Colonies region and along several Hyperspace routes running through it. Your people are wide spread and prospered as traders and industrialists. As such, Giju was among the first of the Galactic Empire’s targets. Your people, normally calm and peaceful, rose up to meet there oppressor and were met only with savage slaughter. Your parents and your pod (family) were among those who rebelled.
After their deaths, you made your way off world to rally support among the Herglic populations in the sectors. You reach out to family and community leaders in vain. The news of your peoples submission to the Imperials devastated you. You’d had only long enough to make the the first stop along the Rimma Trade Route, Ghorman, before it happened. Left without a cause and nothing to go back to, you settled in with your uncle on planet seeking the comfort of the pod. Times grew hard as other species began to show open distrust after Giju submitted to Imperial rule. With little help beyond the “pakk”, you turned to your own kind.
And that’s when you met Harlorn Delnoch, a prominent figure among the local Herglic community. He saw to the financial prosperity of your species despite others’ distrust of you. But his aid came at a price. Harlorn owned a series of casinos and fancied himself a crime boss. He preyed on the others of your kind who face the species wide gambling problem, hooking them in and filling his employ with indebted workers. You quickly amassed a pretty little hole in your wallet and were forced to take up Harlorn’s offer for work. You became a mechanic, playing to the natural skill set of your people. You made your living making service runs to rural parts of the world outside the big cities fixing up farming machines and droids. When your not making house calls, the shop you work for does repair work on space transports, mostly freighters.

ENEMIES

Name: Harlorn Delnoch (Crime Boss)
Race: Herglic – male
Distinguishing Characteristics:
One of the rare members of his race, he exhibits exaggerated predator characteristics, including a aerodynamic head and savagely sharp teeth. He shows his wealth by dressing in loose clothing, made of finer fabrics. He wears numerous items of jewelery obtained as payment for debts from clientele.
Brief History:
You thought you weren’t alone anymore. You’d made your way back to the safety and familiarity of the pakk. And when your guard was down he took advantage of your kind’s gambling addiction and introduced you to the seedier parts of the city. It wasn’t long before you were working in his employ as a technician and occasionally debt-collector. And you weren’t the first. Able to control his own urge for games of chance, he made himself as a Casino Owner and petty Crime Boss. The locals of your kind were all hooked in one way or another and now he sits at the head of Ghorman’s local Herglic community, or “pakk”.
Recently you began making your way toward legitimate business and opened up your own shop, working to help farmers repair and maintenance their machines and droids. Harlorn wasn’t happy to learn this and began driving your business into the ground, subtly leaving you little options but to go back to working for him.

Name: Tekall N’ailaam
Race: Gotal – male
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Tekall wears dark blue chest armor atop faded green fatigues. His cloak, draped over his right shoulder conceals a heavy blaster. His head cones characteristic of his species are bolstered by fake extensions.
Brief History:
You met this hired muscle when you first came to Ghorman. When you acquired your first piece of debt, you were greeted in a dark alley by his blaster and an insidious grin. Lashing out in fear, you rushed him and took hold of the Gotal before hurling him off the second story balcony. Tekall suffered a grievous head wound, damaging his left side head cone. A serious disadvantage in Gotal social and courting standings.
He would have skinned you alive for that but his boss Harlorn Delnoch (above) stole this revenge in favor of forcing you to work off your debt in his service. Socially hindered by the loss of his cone, he wears fake covers to hide his shame. He bides his time waiting for the end of your usefulness to exact his revenge on you
